Manager Operation Excellence

DigiB is the digital hub of Brenntag - the largest chemical distributor in the world. In this role will lead and coordinate a customer excellence team to make today better than yesterday. You’ll connect with regional managers and other stakeholders to improve the customer experience and the company processes that support DigiB products.

This role means taking on a broad responsibility, working horizontally across all key audiences and phases of the customer journey.


Key responsibilites

In this role you will:
• lead DigiB’s Customer Excellence Team
• focus on daily improvement and mid-term and long-term strategy
• be the lead for customer journeys, policies, processes and procedures
• prioritise and manage daily operations and mini projects concurrently
• establish a good working relationship within the business and third parties, including handshake processes between DigiB and Brenntag
• ensure our business continuity, within agreed limits of time, budget, scope and quality
• participate in key stakeholder engagement, together with the business
• engage in impact mitigation, identifying and taking steps to mitigate risks and ensure changes required can be adopted without significant impact to business and customer
• ensure business processes and CXP plans are updated and aligned with new ways of working and are in line with the business.

What we expect from you:
• High academic level of thinking and working
• 5 to 8 years’ working experience
• Leading in customer excellence in the chemical world
• Ability to create a uniform way of working that fits the DigiB purpose and supports Brenntag vision and needs
• Collaborative work style
• Ability to support whenever, wherever, and in whatever way necessary
• Guides and motivates employees so that they can develop optimally
• Customer focus – recognises customer needs and interests and takes this into account when deciding on coarse of action

• Planning and organising – plans work to achieve the stated goals. Previews the mode of operation and the necessary steps. Takes into account unforeseen events and adjusts plans if necessary
• Helicopter view – keeps track of the different elements and the whole of a question, data, project, department or organisation.
