Project Manager Business Change

DigiB is the digital hub of Brenntag – the largest chemical distributor in the world. In this role the focus is on large, inter-country projects and a soft landing towards the business. You will collect, safeguard and implement the requirements of the business while focusing on quality, people and process. Realizing country rollouts for the implementation of new products. This is an engaging and hands-on role and you will  manage and develope the content of deliverables and each country’s organizational change. You will transfer knowledge and operation from the project team to business-as-usual. You are part of the Business Readiness team. This role means taking on a broad responsibility, working horizontally across all key audiences and phases of the rollout projects.

What you will do:

  • Manage the business readiness implementation of Brenntag Connect with relevant countries within agreed limits of time, budget, scope and quality. 
  • Translate digital service strategy into tactical service concepts within the projects.
  • Key stakeholder engagement – act with the business stakeholders.
  • Communications – Develop and execute communications plan in cooperation with projects and business.
  • Business impact assessment – Identify business impact to business and customer of implementing Brenntag Connect including mitigations.
  • Business readiness – Draw-up future business and customer processes of Brenntag Connect together with your business stakeholders.
  • Go Live support – Support the Go Live of Brenntag Connect including a handover plan from project to support organization.
  • Coordinate and execute data readiness activities together with your business stakeholder.
  • Organize and maintain all applicable program documentation, process and tooling, according to the latest standards.


What we expect from you:

  • Academic level of thinking and working.
  • Knowledge of the latest methodology regarding project management and business change.
  • 4–7 years working experience.
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • "Can Do" mentality, makes things happen together with project team and key stakeholders
  • Plan the work to achieve the stated goals, within timelines.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA (approx. once a month/6 weeks)
  • Make timely decisions and take action, even on the basis of incomplete information.
  • Guides and motivates employees so that they can develop optimally.
  • Recognizes the needs and interests of the customers.
