Business Process Analyst - APAC

The business process analyst is in direct contact with the sales,  procurement, supply chain and other divisions; and maps existing business processes, identifies improvement opportunities with supporting data and proposes solutions that contribute to Operational Excellence and Commercial Excellence

  • An idea of what you will do: 

  • Focusing on creating repeatable process execution across Brenntag APAC with DigiB Digital tools - Reviewing and evaluating current business process flows and their operating documentation and understanding how they fit with the current product roll out
  • Mapping out Brenntag Customer Journey processes end to end (AS-IS) (from the first point of contact with Brenntag to the last) identifying key milestones and trigger/focus points for a TO Be process to be developed
  • Identifying gaps within processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, (Digital or otherwise)
  • Taking AS-IS understanding and moving it through a TO BE process of 
                                          • Ideas generation, to 
                                          • user stories,
                                          • UAT and acceptance criteria, 
                                          • to development and hand over
  • Ensuring proper documentation of procedures and processes is available in a Business Process Modelling tool or otherwise
  • Mapping Business Requirements to Data Requirements in SAP
  • Communicating and working with Product Owner (APAC) and DigiB Technical colleagues by feeding business requirements to him/her for technological solutioning requirements
  • Conducting workshops with various Brenntag departments and functional partners – Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, HR, Administration, Procurement, Legal, etc to gather information required and seek consensus
  • Conduct interviews and perform analysis to create business cases for projects.
  • Assist with process change initiatives, where required by helping build organisation and individual capabilities to improve processes and systems for Digital transformation –
  • Extensive communication within and across businesses and stakeholders for alignment of priorities and commercial results
  • Stepping in the role of Product Owner when necessary

Who you are and your experience:

  • You have relevant industry experience and working experience
  • You have experience with any Process Improvement Methodologies
  • Experience in writing and splitting user stories
  • Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies is favourable
  • You are not afraid to roll your sleeves up to get the job done, you lead, DO and deliver
  • Knowledge of SAP EPR is favourable
  • You thrive in an unstructured and extremely agile environment
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and build sustainable internal and external relationships.  Due to the interdisciplinary and international set-up of our new team, skills and a talent for getting the best out of teams through collaboration are mandatory
